Necessary steps for church reform (In addition to dealing with the abuse crisis)
I. Eliminate the deficits in the doctrine of faith: 1. The Church has no contemporary doctrine on the causes of man's destructive behavior. (Instead, it talks about the devil, original sin and sins) >>> 2. The church has no contemporary doctrine on man's need for salvation. (Instead, it speaks of Jesus' atoning suffering for the deliverance from manīs guilt, sin and death) >>> 3. The church has no contemporary doctrine on the psychological maturation and healing processes and the emotional world of man. (Instead, anger, hatred and greed are declared sins instead of understanding and working on their signals). >>> 4. The Church does not have a contemporary doctrine on the ways of man's maturity. (Instead, "obedience" becomes an internal church organizing principle, even though this word never occurs in the mouth of Jesus for human beings.) >>> 5. The church does not have a contemporary doctrine on the work of God in nature on the background of the modern scientific world view. (Instead, it constantly prays to "Almighty God," although this word never occurs in the entire New Testament and awakens in believers a false understanding of God's activity in the world) >>> 6. The Church has no contemporary doctrine on the process of secularization. (Therefore, a fundamental problem of religions, which started from Europe and became the enemy image of the Church, is not dealt with) >>> 7 Accordingly, many liturgies and official prayers are out of date and far from life.
II. Develop and offer a contemporary spirituality, prayer culture and liturgy 1. Renew the culture of prayer >>> 2. The "Salve Regina": An unchristian prayer? >>> 3. Celebration of the Eucharist: "Celebration of the New Covenant" instead of sacrificial rite >>> 4. Unholy prayers in the Holy Mass? >>> 5. How the destruction of Jerusalem changed the image of God in the Eucharistic celebration >>>
III. Tackling urgent tasks vis-ā-vis individual and social problems: >>> In the following problem areas the research of the unconscious psychic backgrounds and the offers for therapeutic as well as spiritual ways of healing would be especially urgent:
1. Unconscious psychic reasons for marital problems and divorces. 2. Unconscious psychic reasons for aggressiveness, violent tendencies and transgressions of all kinds (criminality, warmongering, violent parenting methods, ...) 3.
