Do they all believe in the same God?

Some believe in a God who leaves them in peace.

The others in a God who makes them feel uncomfortable
in the face of the suffering in the world.

Some believe in a God who is silent
like the stars in the sky at night.

The others believe in a God who calls them
to recognize their talents and use them
for a better world.

Some believe in one God
who demands submission and obedience.

The others to a God who invites you
to reflect about life and to feel it,

and to discover for ourselves what is good and right
for a dignified human existence.

Some believe in a God who expects you
to function according to rules and traditions.

The others in a God who calls them
to find out the originality of their own vocation
and its creative realization.

Some believe in a God who is satisfied
when you believe in Him.

The others believe in a God who demands action
that his kingdom of justice
and peace will be erected in the world.
